“He answered an ad,” is how Ryan describes coming to RS Express back in 2010. A geography major – which comes in handy in export freight forwarding – the most challenging part of Ryan’s job is moving hazardous materials and project cargo. While every day feels like a challenge with equipment and capacity issues during the pandemic, it is the complex shipments that need to be assembled like a jigsaw puzzle that give him the most pleasure. Ryan’s top three most challenging destinations to reach are inland Africa, Russia and points in South America.
